No.13 - Clara Smith House

This home was constructed in 1924 for attorney Edwin T. Smith and his wife, Clara. Smith was a prominent Chula Vistan who served on the first Board of Trustees and as Chula Vista's first Mayor. He died in 1925, and his widow continued to live here until 1963.

The house is an interesting combination of two styles and although altered somewhat, it retains integrity of design and materials.
