The City of Chula Vista designates sites that are found to meet the
criteria for listing as a historical site. The criteria for listing are:
* The site bears a relationship to the overall heritage on
a local, state or national basis;
* The site relates to a historic personage who played an
important role historically on a local, state or national basis;
* A site where an important event took place;
* The site should have distinguishing architectural
characteristics that are identifiable;
* The site may be archaeologically significant in its
association with pre-history of the area;
* The site has integrity. It continues to have evidence of
the original feature. Enough of the original structure or site is intact to be
distinguishable as having historical value.
